To launch the 2022 World Cup ball, I hosted footballing influencer, Billy Wingrove from The F2 out at our adidas head office in Herzogenaurach. To land the moment with Gen Z across social media platforms where the brand has less presence, we wanted to work with Billy to provide a 'Behind The Scenes' look at our adidas HQ and produce a vlog on his experience. From archive tours discussing the history of World Cup balls, to testing out the 2022 ball 'Al Rihla' in our innovation lab with our robo-leg, Billy had unprecedented access to create content for his own (and The F2's) social channels communicating directly with Gen-Z on YouTube, TikTok and Instagram.
