Quarry is a show created, directed and performed by Natasha Tsakos (» natashatsakos.com) with the collaboration of Tecné Collective in charge of the technical and creative aspects of the video mapping and stage design.
The show was created for Holcim’s brand launch in Mexico City (May 22nd and 23rd, 2013) and it revolves around the concept of how concrete is made, from the natural forces to the industrialization process involved. It was adapted to 20×8 m and 6×3 m formats in order to fit two different venues.
Quarry was developed in four weeks work and counted with a network of collaborators between Mexico City, Madrid and Miami, including Tecné Collective motion graphic designers Tania Nuñez and Oscar Lopez who worked on the animation.
