Represented the agriculture, agri-science and food corporate communications and media accounts for the former Department of Employment, Economic Development and Innovation (DEEDI), currently known as the Department of Agriculture, Fisheries and Forestry (DAFF). In this role, I wrote the Queensland Minister of Agriculture’s speeches to launch Queensland’s first food policy, Food for a growing economy, and a subsequent business industry grants program; worked on the official Ministerial launch event for Queensland’s first food policy and other state agriculture and food events; and helped launch content for the first Queensland Agriculture and Queensland Food social media channels in 2011.
