'I know that I’m exactly where I’m meant to be' Shot and Directed by Ibrahim Kamara Styled by Tiyana Henriques Makeup by Jackline Edwards R.A.E's 'Imposter' is such a special song and it was important that we got it right. I was tasked with using @dailypaper SS22 collection to bring the idea to life. In the briefest way possible, the first look represents the overwhelming use of negative words that those who experience/d imposter syndrome use/d when discussing themselves and their journey. Ultimately, these words can be consolidated into one: Imposter. For the second look, we wanted to capture this sense of community and stripped back 90s youthfulness as R.A.E and her community navigate their own struggle with Imposter Syndrome. Lastly, the Monochromatic look represents a new beginning; R.A.E is establishing a healthier relationship with herself that is underpinned by her belief that she is 'exactly' where she is meant to be.
