Interpretation project for Cadw owned Raglan Castle in Wales. Working as a freelancer for Hotrod Creations, I was the lead 2D designer for interpretation panels and developed the murals which were painted into both of the gatehouses.
The main message in the brief was to ensure that the visitor experience is enhanced through imaginative story telling that brought the castle characters to life in a way which would resonate with a modern audience. Working as an integral member of the creative team, we installed murals, sculptures and panels into the castle alongside an audio narrative which can be accessed on visitors smart devices via iBeacon technology.
Installed in March 2016 as the castle unveils it's new identity as the 'The Castle of Invention'
