Ramadan, Easter, the University Chancellors’ lecture, Annual Meeting of the University Court, Eid and Eid Al-Fitr (Digital and Print Designs)- GAP Graphic Design Assistant at the University of Bedfordshire

Ramadan: The next set of assets developed was for Ramadan done on a bright yellow background using various elements from Canva of everything that represented the day, such as stars, lights, moon, patterns and mosques. Before overlaying it with the text saying: Wishing you a happy Ramadan on top of the design using Univers Bold 65 to make it all stand out. Easter: It was coming to the end of March and for the team I developed three different sized designs for MyBedsLife, Twitter and Digital Screens for Easter. Furthermore, just like the ones for Ramadan, I used elements from Canva of various designs that represent the holiday, such as eggs, bunnys and flowers. Then, for the background, keep it simple with just a pastel blue before wishing you a happy Easter using the university fonts. University Chancellors' Lecture: An important lecture occurred in May for Sarfraz Manzoor and for it. I developed professional artwork using university branding guidelines to promote the lecture by first creating one design and then making changes to make sure the design was perfect and ready before developing the other sizes for the team to upload on various platforms. Annual Meeting of the University Court: For the Annual Meeting of the University Court, I developed an invitation design for the day using the updated information logos, including the logo and elements of the university’s new campaign: Career Powered Education. Eid and Eid AI-Fitr: Eid was arriving soon and for the special celebration, I developed a range of different designs which was then shared with my team to decide which to use and from the three, the first a design was chosen. It consists of a #22225B background with various elements surrounding Eid: stars, mosque, golden borders on top before using the university’s brand line font to add Eid Mubarak. Another Eid design was developed with a similar design to the one created for BedsSu for Eid AI-Fitr Celebration held on Wednesday 10th April from 12:00-15:00. I did this by painting the emerald background on procreate before bringing it on to Canva, where I layered it with various elements that can be seen in the Beds Su poster such as on silhouette of a mosque, lanterns, clouds and lights, before adding the text and QR code.
