RAWBLAK (Summary)

  • Connor Higgins
  • Jessica Acheampong
  • Tanya Gates

RAWBLAK is an exploration into the wasteful consumption practice of the human race. Inspired by and representative of the climate crisis, this body of work portrays oil spills, oceanic plastic pollution and post-modern fashion through a dystopian lens. The collection was designed and created last year as one of my final university projects; using entirely waste plastic, up-cycled garments and responsibly sourced materials. All looks and images were created and edited by myself.
