Re-Brand for workplace culture app - Workio

  • Andrew Balerdi

Workio, a great concept from Kieron Fuller and Alan Stewart, is a workplace culture measurement tool. They are a great start up and needed a brand to reflect their values of transparency, empowerment and impact. They tasked us to come up with the brand guidelines and a new logo identity. They also asked us to contribute to their brand positioning statements to help describe what it is and how they help businesses.

We went through a lot of sketches and concepts to get to the final logo and identity. But we love going through this process to make sure it speaks to the audience and best shapes the contours and visual representation of the business.

Kieron and Allen were not the biggest fans of the 'sketch' look as this woud not have conveyed the impact they were trying to convey. So we opted for a cleaner look.
From the initial 'w' concept which they liked we played with style and colour to result in these final logos.

Next we wanted to build out this style to help illustrate the meaning behind workplace culture and it's impact on business environments. We came up with an illustration concept to mix the 'real' with the 'graphic'. Once representing a true picture of the work world and the other showing what might be, if albeit not the real picture, or what something is.
As an initial concept here is the 1st stab at the website.
Lots more to come and we love working with them.
