Re—Imagining Newhaven

Newhaven is an industrial seaside town with huge potential. In order to secure the £7m funding required for rejuvenation, Lewes Council needed a report to illustrate the degradation of Newhaven, as well as laying out the plans to make it a destination for the south coast of the UK. The typography riffs on the industrial aesthetic of the town. The layout is sparse and off-kilter, paired with cinematic photography by Benedict Stenning. Brighter, more energetic pages illustrate the ideas of rejuvenation, showcasing a microplan by Turner.Works.
