What could it take to repair ourselves, let alone the world? Re: Repair is a collection of interventions from 16 artists exploring the idea of repair as an ongoing process. The artworks include a wide range of media including photography, performance, installation, participatory practices and audio works. The collective have explored themes of repair across labour, institutional injustices, decolonisation, rest, ritual, connection and technology. I collaborated with artwork and curating Repair Studio - a reimagined approach to a repair café and alternative avenue for public programming. The studio-space was designed to further explore the idea of repair through a series of synergetic workshops and discussions. The collection of interventions has been developed with help from artist mentor Jordan McKenzie and support from external guest facilitators such as artists Abbas Zahedi and Priya Jay. The artists exhibited in Re:Repair are Cora Sehgal Cuthbert, Fikayo Adebajo, Harry Cross, Ioana Simion, J Frank, Jan Kaminski, Karina Sellers-Hardy, Kevin Ishimwe, L U C I N E, Maite de Orbe, Nefeli Kentoni, Phoebe Wagner, Sally Barton, Sam Stewart, Sena Appeah and Victoria George.
