The Original brief for this piece of work was to show how time can walk among us and portray this in a calendar month format. My Concept is Strata, most commonly known as Rock Layering. I chose this subject as my platform because it is a natural representation and preservation of time dating back to billions of years ago. I experimented with different materials which are the outcome of rock being an ingredient in their production such as silica and salt, and ended up using these as my typographic source.
