Directed and edited by me. Shot entirely on super 8 by me. The installation piece was constructed using wool, lighting and two short films. The films played simultaneously adjacent to each other, depicting the end of a romance between a young couple. The film was in the point of view of an individual in the relationship, entailing close ups of the actors body, making the film personal yet relative. The film is a memoir and I drew my inspiration from past experiences and sketched my memories out which helped me visualise the installation. Red wool was laxly hung across the ceiling, echoing the mess of the couple’s relationship and its fragility as the entire piece could easily be disrupted by a single tug of a strand.
