I am an innovative and hardworking individual who has further developed these traits while completing a postgraduate degree in Film at the university of the Arts London, a degree which has helped me to evolve both personally and professionally. I am excited about Production Design and this is the role I have undertaken for many of my films.
I am disciplined and highly motivated as well as a collaborative asset in any team-orientated environment, always seeking to combine being a confident and engaging presence with a calm diligence.
Projects
- REDDirected and edited by me. Shot entirely on super 8 by me. The installation piece was constructed using wool, lighting and two short films. The films played simultaneously adjacent to each other, depicting the end of a romance between a young couple. The film was in the point of view of an individual in the relationship, entailing close ups of the actors body, making the film personal yet relative. The film is a memoir and I drew my inspiration from past experiences and sketched my memories out
- GerascoThe world of Gerasco is based on a child’s imagination and therefore I dramatized this while creating the sets and props. As art director, my initial research began by exploring theatre sets as Georgia wanted a theatrical look and exaggerated themes of imagination. It was decided to incorporate mediums that are used by children in order to truly represent a child’s imagination and I drew inspiration from Jeff Koons who has used balloon animals and play-doh in his work.
