Who are we?
Act Creative is a small yet dynamic team, founded by photograher and designer Cigdem Boru back in 2012 when she was based in Istanbul, the studio now encompasses herself and creative copywriter Isobel Trott. A creative partnership was formed since becoming flatmates in January 2020, the crazy events of 2020 compelled them to revive and refresh the studio. They work and live together in East London.
Cigdem Boru
Cigdem is a London based Creative Director, Photographer, Video Artist and a highly regarded designer with many years of experience of creating versatile, visual communications across all sectors. Prior to forming ACT, Cigdem took part in a number of European creative campaigns, including managing an EU photography project for gipsy culture & children and was Director of Photography in a short film screened at Cannes Film Festival. As an artist and professional, Cigdem thrives on the creative challenge of collaborating with clients across a wide cross-section of brands and organisations to help create a meaningful brand identity and top-notch consumer engagement experiences.
Isobel Trott
Isobel is a dedicated Creative Professional and MA Graduate with several years of experience in brand storytelling, digital marketing, social media, copywriting PR and journalism, now based in London. With experience creating social media campaigns and content for a number of brands in the music, events, art, education and food & drink sectors, including London based GALA and Kingdom Festivals, and independent music school Academy of Music and Sound – she is ready to turn her writing hand to anything. Isobel also has published work in several high profile platforms like Crack Magazine, METAL Magazine and Manchester Wire, where she was also Clubs Editor.
