Product catalogues allow employees to find information such as name, product number and colour options. It is the designers job to ensure that happens as quickly and easily as possible. These Rimmel catalogues have been designed to allow the user to quickly identify not only which sector within cosmetics the catalogue is, but also able to identify the actual product quickly due to larger images and clear information. The categories have been meticulously organised to ensure the products sit on the page in order, comfortably. With each category being given a different colour, the sub-categories are then given different shades of the initial colour to ensure it is clear to the user when one category ends and one begins. The products have been given room to breathe, therefore allowing the eye to scan and take in the information quicker and easier. Each product catalogue is then topped off with a lovely thick strip of 'Rimmel Red', accompanied by their strong recognisable logo. At the top of the cover each catalogue title is stated in bold, partnered with the date.
