Robotika

New stage at Boomtown Fair, one of the UK's larger festivals. Our involvement was to create, from concept to delivery, an animation package and live visual performance based on the back story and design concept of the stage. A robot factory from the future, our focus was a central character, a cyborg, who danced around in the factory, we also developed elements of the factory's internal architecture and production lines.

Unlike nearly every other project we have worked on in the past, we used 2 x LED wall screens instead of projection, this meant we were able to play the animations throughout the day as well as at night. Also, given the lack of a 3D surface within which we would normally create a certain perspective, we were free to play with moving camera angles more than we would normally.
The 2 4mx4m panels created a big impression across the 25meter wide stage, and we had a lot of fun with this!
