The inspiration for my final major project comes from the 17th and 18th century design styles Rococo and Baroque. I travelled to Paris in January to source visual research, colour inspiration and drawing material at the Palace of Versailles and the Louvre Museum, as well as visiting british palaces, stately Home’s and museums. Specialising in screen-print and some digital methods I have recreated classic interior textiles like Toule de Jouy, damask and chinoiserie using my own imagery and drawings.
