'Roger Ballen is one of the world's most important contemporary photographers and is represented in some of the top contemporary art collections in the world, including the Tate Britain collection in London, the Victoria and Albert Museum in London and the Centre Georges Pompidou in Paris. The Asylum of the Birds exhibition at Circa is the first commercial show for this body of work, although the images have already been exhibited at museums and cultural institutions around the world in 2014.'
