For MIF09 I co-ordinated a gig for 15-19 year olds at the Manchester Pavilion. Mystery Jets, Tim Burgess (The Charlatans), Esser and Televised Crimewave performed. Alongside the gig was a series of fringe art workshops and exhibitions, documented in the video below. Sarah Maple took over a shop window at the House Of Fraiser, with a performance titled “I’m An Edgy Contemporary Artist”.
I organised a talks series with photographer Gavin Watson and musician Tim Burgess, who spoke about getting into the creative industries. I also edited a zine with contributions from performers at the festival.
