Samsung - Nocturnal Narratives

Working with Samsung UK, we launched the Nocturnal Narratives campaign in March 2022. Nocturnal Narratives is a series of 3 short films project directed by Will Robson-Scott, capturing the nocturnal lives of three diverse and unique individuals, all made possible with Samsung Galaxy S22 technology. Armed with the Galaxy S22 Ultra Nightography features we’re shining a light on the unseen narratives of Dalston-based florist My Lady Garden, pioneering boxer Safiyyah ‘The Hijabi Boxer’ Syeed and underground music collective, Keep Hush. Each of these subjects have something special that forces them up at the dead of night, or keeps them awake until first light. They all have a unique story to tell, overcoming their own obstacles to be where they are now. The Galaxy S22 Ultra’s Nightography features captured these narratives in a way that has not previously been possible with a smartphone. To celebrate these films, we hosted a filmmakers exhibition and masterclass live at Samsung KX on the 28th March. The event shined a light on Nightrography, nighttime creativity and the art of storytelling. Our director was joined by up-coming filmmaker Nierodha Perera to discuss his creative process, give his top tips for shooting in low light and inspire the audience about the possibilities of shooting with a smartphone.
