Sarabande, also known as the ‘Lee Alexander McQueen foundation’ was set up after the tragic death of Lee Alexander McQueen. Its main premise is to benefit those in the creative industries struggling to find affordable office / studio space in the city of London. The foundation also offers a scholarship program to those looking to further thier creative education but may not have the funds to proceed. The redesign was prompted after the patrons of the charity recognised the importance of reflecting the creative community and great work produced by those supported by the foundation. The ‘moth’ shot by Nick Knight was the only brand language available, and with limited resource and brand work. It was up to me to design a fully responsive site whilst emphasising the heart of the foundation.
