SCARS | Short Film + Storyworld

“Scars” was originally written as a response to a reddit.com writing prompt. The original prompt was simple: You live in a world where each lie creates a scar on the liar's body. The bigger the lie, the deeper and larger the mark. One day, you meet someone that only has one scar; it is the biggest one you have ever seen. Created with limited resources and clearly defined IP, the SCARS short film is one small piece within a multi-faceted juggernaut with the potential to sit at the forefront of the immersive content wave. This 360 storytelling approach helped us create 100+ supporting deliverables within the four production days. Dozens of stories were written based on the prompt, but one struck a chord with readers and rose above the internet noise. The original story behind SCARS received over 15,000 upvotes on reddit and was read by over 1 million people.
