Seaside suvenirs

  • Jakub Stępień

At stalls in holiday resorts, the infamous Huggy Waggy grins among shells, magnets, scarves, hats and towels. The same mass-produced seascapes create memories of holidays from the Baltic Sea to the Adriatic Sea. Hakobo - a graphic designer from Łódź recognized as one of the fifty most important poster designers in the world - enters the souvenir niche (John Foster "New Masters of Poster Design: Poster Design for the Next Century"). Known to the inhabitants of Gdynia for the mural implementation on the court building by the fish hall and the signboard of "tailor alterations" at Starowiejska Street. For Traffic Design, he also designed a bicycle service sign in Warsaw's Praga district. He collaborated with such institutions as the NOSPR in Katowice, Zachęta National Gallery of Art, IAM, BWA Wrocław. Natalia Wielebska Traffic Design https://www.instagram.com/traffic_design/
