Wearable haptic navigator for blind and sighted people, self initiated project.
One of the biggest problem for blind people is mobility, The navigator solves that problem in the more appropriate for blind people way.
On the video I'm guiding the blind guy using the functional prototype. I send directions to the receiver. Receiver with servo-motor is placed on the blind person palm. Palms are very sensitive and rotations of servo-motor horn is understand and 'translated' intuitively in the relevant body turn.
In the final product directions will be sent from the GPS app installed on the phone.
