Side by Side for Noctis Magazine (online)

Side by Side was an editorial I shot and styled in collaboration with illustrator Brandon Morris for Noctis Magazine (online). I'd wanted to shoot a multimedia editorial that blended my photography with illustrations. After recruiting make-up artists and working with a range of PR companies I sourced samples from a range of brands including Lola May, New Balance, Wood Wood, Umbro and Stüssy. I then street cast a model and styled three looks that varied in terms of silhouettes and the amount of graphics/branding on the garments to make the illustrative element of the images a focal point, whilst still maintaining cohesiveness throughout the whole editorial. After shooting the editorial I convened with the illustrator to decide how to split each photos to best accentuate the mixed media effect.
