Six Bougies

Six Bougies began as a passion project between three creative girlfriends, passionate about the vibrancy of West African textiles and the ease to realise our design ideas due to the abundance of local tailors and seamstresses. As Six Bougies grew and developed, I realised the importance of visual storytelling of West African cultural heritage via design and textiles as well as the fundamental relevance of shaping a narrative between the makers of the items that we purchase.
