Skills for Tomorrow Project Gold Award - Birmingham Enterprise Community

  • Lauren Garden

The Skills for Tomorrow programme is an intensive skills development programme helping empower individuals through the development of a range of entrepreneurial competencies through a blend of concept engagement and practical engagement. These competencies enabled me to be an effective problem solver and innovator. I am able to seek opportunities to create value and have an understanding of how to take ideas and turn them into real world action and impact. In order to earn this badge I had to complete a month long intensive development programme. This programme involved attending expert-led workshops, mentoring and access to a range of virtual resources. I was given a set of tasks to complete as part of the programme which allowed them to apply what they had learned on the programme whilst also demonstrating the competencies they had developed - forming a virtual portfolio. Please speak to me to find out more about this portfolio of work. This GOLD LEVEL award is given to those who have completed an additional set of development tasks. I demonstrated a strong drive for self development, as I am not simply content to complete the minimum requirements, but push to achieve my full potential. Learning hours: 25
