Having the concept of Skillscycle in mind, the team started developing its design around the idea of a moveable structure which would have the ability to host, display and exchange a variety of skills.
Four structures for four skill categories depending on the activities and needs of our communities: Kitchen, Garden, Performance and Design.
While trying to figure out how to make these structures as compact, functional and aesthetically appealing as possible, the group came up with the idea of wheelbarrows.
The decision to use the form of a wheelbarrow was deliberate as one of its main purposes is to transport construction materials, and King’s Cross is an area which is being re-constructed as we speak.
