Maybe the truth, is what we now know, And this isn’t really, some jolly big show, But the actors we have, who perform on stage, Have lied so much, now there’s plenty of rage! But as we argue over, the parties and cake, They’re probably lining more pockets, for goodness sake, As Hancock resigned, he had a slap on the wrist, Being sent to jail, should have been the real twist, PPE Contracts, hidden with affairs and kisses, Now he gets a book deal, and prison he misses! They all lie and cheat, in Westminster Abbey, Listening to them waffle, is totally tacky! This used to be, a great country with pride, But the roar has long gone, as the people all hide, Allowing these thieves, to pilfer and steal, Billions gone missing, and they did it with zeal, But still there is hope, if we stand up and say, We’ll take this no more, and we will seize the day! — Alan Firmin
