SOMNAI is a one-of-a-kind production, combining cutting-edge immersive tech and theatre. SOMNAI is an "AI sleep clinic" where patients book appointments to master the art of lucid dreaming. A 70 min show allows patients to access different part of the “dream". Fantasy VR is one of them. It is a multi-sensory, social, full body track VR experience built for 6 participants to delve into the multiple fantasy worlds. The experience has been networked allowing guests to interact with each other and the surroundings. Sensory elements such as scents, wind, and heat were used to add another layer of immersion. Physical props and a multitude of textures were positioned to create the impression of "layered reality".
