Brand identity for SOMOS, an Ecuadorian NGO that fight against social inequality in the crafts industries.

Somos asked me to create an identity that not only expresses traditional humanity and sustainability of the brand but also attracts a contemporary audience beyond the local context.
My visual response was a simple and clean shape representing the people who collaborate hand in hand, embracing the Ecuadorian landscape. The word ‘somos’ is hidden in the shape, making the mark more unique.
Inspired by the nature and culture of Ecuador, the delicate colour palette aims to gets away from the stereotypical South American aesthetics.
