Sonder Ons
Sonder is the word for the realization that each random passerby is living a life as vivid and complex as your own. Populated with their own ambitions, friends, routines, worries and inherited craziness.
Opening up to small individual encounters during our daily routine can be both surprising and valuable. These encounters can brighten our sometimes uneventful daily life. I like to offer people the possibility to more easily meet eachother in their daily routines by using my especially redesigned everyday objects. The individual participants can influence the encounter by taking control, or by neutral or submissive behaviour. I want to make people realise that we each can chose to be part of a more social world.
It may take some effort, but it sure will be exciting.
