Southampton City Council: Recruitment Social Media Presence

Tasked with bringing a social media presence to the City Council's recruitment team I designed a range of template adverts to routinely publicise vacancies in an easily digestible and aesthetically pleasing form. Unlike the last project I decided to use stock images in order to humanise the more hard-to-recruit to vacancies to attract more applications. I incorporated use of the brand colours and council slogan to bring an all together stronger brand presence to social media. These adverts accompanied a brief piece of copy stylised for each platform; LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter. Creating and using these advert templates became part of my daily role, as did scheduling the adverts for the marketing of vacancies for the Council. I have since trained the recruitment team in using the software to create their own adverts from the templates and in using the different social media platforms more effectively.
