About me
A music promotion graduate looking to work in marketing and communications, preferably within the music industry. Four years hospitality experience, trained mixologist and Personal Licence holder. Successful event management and promotion experience. Currently working at Southampton City Council in a temporary position that was extended until March 2019, to lead the recruitment team's internal and external communications. Developed a social media strategy and brand identity for the team. I have worked specifically with hard to recruit to posts such a Social Workers and Early Years Practitioners, producing a range of marketing materials for them and events. I also coordinate the employee benefits; updating, securing additional, nurturing relationships with partners and leading a redesign of the corresponding staff intranet pages.
I am seeking a new opportunity that will nurture my range of talents with the aim to hone-in and develop in a specific area. I am versatile, enthusiastic and a fast learner who enjoys building relationships and partnerships, finding creative solutions and strive not only for personal growth but as I develop to also elevate and enhance the organisations I work with wherever I may have effect.

- Southampton City Council: Recruitment Social Media PresenceTasked with bringing a social media presence to the City Council's recruitment team I designed a range of template adverts to routinely publicise vacancies in an easily digestible and aesthetically pleasing form. I decided to use images of key local areas and landmarks in order to demonstrate our connection to the community and how the vacancies can link to the smooth functioning of local society. I incorporated use of the brand colours and council slogan to bring an all together stronger brand

Tripp the Lights Events Guide | Final Major Project | 2017
We identified a gap in the local market for a clear and concise
online dance music events guide for Southampton. An in-depth
yet informal clubbing companion Tripp the Lights was designed not
only to serve as a local guide but to be accompanied by a
corresponding blog that discusses fashion; up-coming artists; local
and national industry news; event and venue reviews; artist
interviews: a social commentary on dance music culture. My
primary responsibilities included:
• Contact venues, promoters, artists and sponsors and create
lasting professional relationships. To conduct interviews and
venue/event reviews
• Primary and secondary market research, competitor analysis;
organisation of a financial structure; business objectives and
strategies.
• Content and promotional copy writing, press releases,
commercialisation opportunity analysis, social media
assistance, working to budgets, diary management
• To be the first point of contact for the project, team working,
motivation and effective communication, devised a recruitment
strategy for volunteer contributors
