About me
A music promotion graduate looking to work in marketing and communications, preferably within the music industry. Four years hospitality experience, trained mixologist and Personal Licence holder. Successful event management and promotion experience. Currently working at Southampton City Council in a temporary position that was extended until March 2019, to lead the recruitment team's internal and external communications. Developed a social media strategy and brand identity for the team. I have worked specifically with hard to recruit to posts such a Social Workers and Early Years Practitioners, producing a range of marketing materials for them and events. I also coordinate the employee benefits; updating, securing additional, nurturing relationships with partners and leading a redesign of the corresponding staff intranet pages. I am seeking a new opportunity that will nurture my range of talents with the aim to hone-in and develop in a specific area. I am versatile, enthusiastic and a fast learner who enjoys building relationships and partnerships, finding creative solutions and strive not only for personal growth but as I develop to also elevate and enhance the organisations I work with wherever I may have effect.
