Soviet Space Dogs Book

This book is about the Soviet Space Dogs of the 1950's and 60's. These brave dogs were sent into orbit by the USSR before humans entered space. Their stories are fascinating and tragic and this book tells the story of one of the lesser known parts of the Space race. The illustrations are inspired by Soviet posters and illustrations as well as retro matchboxes from the time. Screenprinting and risograph was a big inspiration for this project, as I wanted to replicate the look for this book.
