This brief was entitled, 'Learn Something New Everyday', and the task was to illustrate 10 facts. I chose the subject matter of space, and explored the idea of using abstraction and colour to help make space beautiful and interesting.
I used the concept of 'things are not all what they seem', and accompanied the illustrations with a poem, written by myself, to create an 'Illustrated Guide to The Stars.' The aim is to encourage the audience to look closer at subject matter, as it could lead one to discover something new and beautiful. The Guide comes with a choice of 3 posters and stickers upon purchase.
