Designing to a brief titled ‘Harvest Golds’, a trio of geometric textile shapes were created, whilst working towards a set colour palette. Inspired by; geometric shapes, triangular tessellation and the manipulation of material, the textiles were made by combining hand dyeing and material focused print techniques. They were shown as part of the collaboration of SPINEXPO x NTU Design Students at the trade show in Shanghai 2017. Below are photographs showing an insight into the process of creating them and the place they took in the exhibition stands at SPINEXPO Shanghai.
