Mind partnered up with JoJo Maman Bébé to run a two month campaign to raise awareness about societal pressure on young mums. The campaign focused on the ‘fake’ representation of motherhood on social media which can give an unrealistic picture to young mothers who frequently compare their lives to influencers on Instagram. As a result, mental health issues are commonly found in the early days of motherhood due to a feeling of ‘not being good enough’. The campaign warns young mothers of the fake reality on social media and seeks to provide a safe environment for mums to share their ‘real’ feelings with other mums who go through exactly the same.
