Stilettos & Glitter: The Fashion Legacy of Latin American Showgirls

Webinar facilitated by Mexican-Cuban journalist and researcher Arturo Rico, director of the Ficheraz Archive on Wednesday 24th December 2021. About Ficheraz Ficheraz is an archival project created by Arturo Rico in 2018. Its sole purpose is to preserve and share the history of vintage showgirls, burlesque performers and cabaret artists from Latin America, the Caribbean and the diaspora. In recent years Ficheraz has gained international notoriety through social media, over 125 thousand followers on Instagram and almost 300 thousand likes on Facebook echo the popularity of the project.
