Still Here Still Life
A collection of screen and digital prints along with UV printed tiles and placemats. Named ‘Still Here Still Life’, inspired by the Instagram challenge of the same name in which a new still life prompt was posted each week to keep artists engaged and creating during lockdown. I decided to focus on objects and still life settings around my own home, such as my breakfast and my mum’s vases, drawing and collaging from these and developing them into graphic and playful outcomes that showcase my own everyday joys. Creating this collection helped me to stay engaged with my creative practice throughout the challenging time period of lockdown.
