The Stormtrooper Club is a ‘secret’ dancing space with DJ music and Ultraviolet light. Cherrie's concept is based on the energy flow of a galactic supernova. Umbrellas are jointed together with cable ties in groups of 3-5, these small units are then accumulated to become a large, organic and seamless form. It is a free-style composition, Cherrie responds to the structure of the space and audience requirements. The entire structure is hand painted with Neon Fluorescent paints so that it glows brightly and comes to life under the Ultraviolet Light. The final outcome is a 20-metre length Ultraviolet light sculpture suspended from the ceiling, which extends from one end of a vast dancing floor to its other end.
