STREET/FORM - A Shutter Hub Exhibition with POW! WOW! Rotterdam

Shutter Hub's exhibition, STREET / FORM opened on Monday 9 September 2019, at POW! WOW! Rotterdam, Europe's leading street art festival. STREET / FORM investigates photography’s relationship with the urban landscape and street culture. The juxtaposition of shape and form, the encounters with the unknown, the intimacy with strangers. 70 photographers from around the world find inspiration in the street. Shutter Hub teamed up with one of the most exciting street art festivals in the world, and curated an exhibition of photography for POW! WOW! Rotterdam – Europe’s leading street art festival. As part of this world-class festival programme, Shutter Hub hosted a week long exhibition, taking over an empty property in the Rotterdam-Zuid area and filling it with over 100 large scale newspaper prints. Newspaper is a temporary, democratic material with a low environmental impact compared to other exhibition processes. Installation photographs by Jayne Lloyd.
