Strike a Romance Zine

A journal inspired zine that reflects an individual who’s family are miners and going through the struggles faced with the Miner’s Strike. She has her escape and that’s being a New Romantic. The journal reflects the six looks that she has created. A collection that heavily merges a true new romantic style with miners detailing. Her main influences are of course her Grandad, a man who she truly looks up too and her icons of the 80s; Steve Strange, David Bowie and Leigh Bowery. The vibe of the collection is fit for all, anyone who wants to wear it can!
