The first step to any infographic design is understanding the data, which at times might require discussions with the client. Thereafter it’s a matter of characterising the style and mood for the infographic, which takes into consideration the target audience, client’s brand and delivery medium. A softer colour palette that contrasts the SPII brand, while not overpowering it, was used to reflect and engage the target audience. A ‘hero’ image for the first page was created to quickly set the 'feel' for the data being shown.
