In the world of shoes there is a secret battle going on, a battle for attention and purpose. With every new season and every new trend comes the threat of abandonment. Just like in the wild, only the stronger and more strategic animals defeat their enemy. Hidden away in the back of our cupboards we may find these battles being fought between our beloved shoes…..if only we just look a bit closer. The film 'Survival of the Fittest' is a playful tribute to these battles and allows us wonder what actually might be going on behind closet doors.
