This Shipping Pallet styled coffee table has been carefully made from the oldest, biggest, rarest, most ecological and most exclusive wood in the world. I was given the opportunity to work with Swamp Kauri, which can only be found in the far Northland of New Zealand. The wood is anywhere between 30-50 thousand years old and has the most amazing finish I have seen on any type of wood. Single planks can reach $100 (NZD) this table is made from approximately 25 planks. This tables dimensions on its base measure 750mmx700mmx350mm. The Pallet itself is detachable and sits on its base making it easy to clean and store.
