Temple Wellbeing

Temple was a B2B mental wellbeing app for workers. Despite 1 in 3 people suffering from poor mental wellbeing at work, 80% of available solutions only achieve a 2-4% engagement rate with users. My Co-founder, (former Microsoft Executive, Nikolaz Foucaud) and I felt compelled to build a platform that lent from habit forming technologies to engage workers and make mind maintenance a daily habit. We: - Launched an MVP offering a 15-minute daily HIIT workout for the mind. - Built and tested it on a shoestring with the help of neuroscientists, athletes and engineers. - Trialled our product during lockdown in over six countries and multiple industries. - Large majority of users felt more optimistic after use of the app. - 98% of users wanted to continue using our app. - 3X more stickiness after two weeks of use than leading players who we admired like Headspace. - First mental wellbeing platform used on professional networks as 'badge of pride'. I built the the Temple brand from scratch and delivered a product that successfully 'broke the stigma' around the adoption of mental health services. Over 90% of users claimed that they felt proud to use Temple. I led the innovation of the product and its design, guided the technical team and our content partners to deliver an effective and engaging product quickly and affordably. We made a swift decision to discontinue Temple after a change in investor expectations at ‘Seed’ due to Covid-19. Despite this it was an amazing experience full of valuable learnings. www.templewellbeing.com
