Terrazzo

Terrazzo is a distinct pattern widely used in interior and exterior spaces. Its current revival in different design applications was an inspiration to use it as the main feature for this collection. Speckles of irregular shapes in different tones of the same colour embellish the enamelled surface of the mugs, teapots, breakfast bowls and trays. This contemporary interpretation is referencing the speckled technique typically used to decorate enamelware in the past. The terrazzo pattern and its curved design, applied only on the upper half, gives the impression that each object has been partially dipped into colour.
