Based at Antenna Studios, we are an event led café whose name - “café thing” can be traced to Iceland, where the first democratic public meeting places were formed.
With no political (or religious) affiliations, the café centres offers somewhere for the local community and beyond to eat, drink, talk, relax, work and play."

I managed the cafe from 2012-2014 creating an event-led space with a focus on ecology. Events ranged from live music with Jono Mcleery, to poetry and science talks.
As well as recruitment and daily operations, I managed the social media and promotions, some of the graphic design for events and overall branding of the cafe.
