Traditional barbershop branding is heavy, masculine and lacking in individuality. This is completely at odds with the ethos at The Barber Room, so I designed a brand for them that turned tradition on its head. I opted for a hand-drawn, gender-neutral identity to encapsulate the down-to-Earth attitude of the business owner and the diversity of the company’s clientele.
